 Chevrolet- enjoy

SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile or the joint venture between General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) of China and Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co., Ltd is finally reaping its fruits for the Indian market. GM India has been extensively testing the Wuling Minivan in India and  now will launch it under the name Enjoy in May 2013. It is extensively modified for India including having a diesel engine. The exterior of the Enjoy is quite pleasant and the pictures use a red coloured car which looks good though the design is prettty much the usual MPV design fare though GM India has worked hard to make it more premium and we like the front of the car. The Enjoy is quite compact with a 4305mm length but a wheelbase of 2720mm is good for liberating space inside. When talking about what is on the inside, the Enjoy being a MPV prides on space and the top versions have two captain seats in the second row which are comfy while you get a bench in other versions. The third row is also pretty spacious plus there is also loads of headroom on the inside. The cabin does have design cues taken from other GM products.

The design of the dash or the steering is simple and nothing is futuristic but everything despite having an air of simplicity works well and is easy to use. The Enjoy will be launched in May sporting an aggressive price-tag. The Enjoy will be a crucial product and it will bridge the gap between the Maruti Ertiga and the Toyota Innova plus being more easier on the eye than the Nissan Evalia. The Enjoy will have a petrol and diesel engine with the bulk of the sales expected of the diesel. The Enjoy will be powered by the 1.3-litre multijet unit sourced from FIAT and will provide excellent economy coupled with good performance. The diesel is good for 76 bhp while the 1.4 petrol makes 103 bhp. You get a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Even with all three rows in place, there should be enough space for a few luggage bags. The Enjoy is the product of the SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile or the joint venture between General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) of China and Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co. Pricing is crucial and we expect a competitive price along or below the Maruti Ertiga. We feel this is a compact, honest and a spacious MPV that has potential. If priced well.
